Our little ones may fall down and hurt their knees or elbows, but the most heart-wrenching falls are those which cause head bumps. When my youngest fell hard on the staircase at 9 months old, causing her forehead to swell to a size of an egg, I went searching for a helmet, but there wasn’t one readily available in the stores. So, I thought to myself – I’ll be more careful the next time, but it happened again!!! It doesn’t matter how many times she bumped herself, but each time, the swelling was bad and always full of regrets why didn’t I get a helmet! I just didn’t like the bulky helmets available. I was looking for the simple cotton one I had 14 years ago which was soft, light, comfortable and well-ventilated – one which I can wear it on her all the time.
